Dear Judy,

I’m hosting a Bloody Mary brunch at my house for my best friend’s bridal shower, and I’m looking for ways to really impress my guests. Any tips?

Dear Brinezilla,

My mom always said, “If a thing is worth doing, it’s worth doing it right.” I applied this same advice to my Bloody Mary game, and I’ve been so pleased with the results! I thought I’d pass along my favorite ways to take my Bloody Marys to the next level so you can achieve the same level of success with yours.

Start with the best garnish:

And use professional-grade tools:

Now add a little something extra:

And finish with the perfect rimming salt:

For serious players only: frozen glassware!

That should get your brunch off to a good start. Just don’t forget the basics: plenty of the spirit of your choice (vodka, gin, and tequila are all popular choices), and lots of Portland Bloody Mary Mix. Fun fact: I also sell the mix in gallon growlers for really big events, so email me if you want one. They’re not available in stores yet!

Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,
